Pat Wattam has always had a love of music and art from an early age but concentrated on her music, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Arkansas Tech University and a Master of Music in Clarinet Performance from Michigan State University. Recently Pat rediscovered her art talent and has enjoyed expressing herself in a new way! Her love of travel, the ocean and the power of water are featured in many of her paintings! Pat loves the feel of the oil on canvas - feeling the rhythm of the painting - and has a special passion for the colors of Hawaii. She has been juried into local art shows and has shown in local galleries. Pat is proud to be a member of the Associated Women in the Arts, Oil Painters of America, Women Painters of the Southeast, the Louisiana Art and Artists Guild and the St. Tammany Art Association.
